Guest Post #1!

I was fortunate enough to be given the opp to do a guest post....met Annalyn through Supah Mommy's Post-It Note Tuesday suggestion of visiting the site of the comment above you.  I did just that and saw she was in need of a guest post for this weekend!  Thank you Annalyn of All Things Lovely for inviting me onto your site!

My good friend Shaina Herrman helped me out with the camping pics as I haven't been camping for awhile.  And, I had a typo in her watermarks.  :(  What kind of friend am I???  I suppose that's the backlash of trying to get a post done in a few hours!  Her REAL link to see some more of her beautiful photograpy is http://www.shainaherrmannphotography.shutterfly.com/ so try that instead.

The closest I've been to camping is our annual trip out to the Black Hills - Lead, SD to be exact - to stay in a huge cabin/house with all of the in-laws.  There's 17 of us that fit quite comfortably in this house.

Here we all are:

And here's some of the cabin:

But I didn't bring you here to show you a bunch of pics about a cabin.  :)   So stop back again!  We're just getting started around here...exciting things are coming soon!

Thank you for stopping by!  May you have a blessed day!

Who Moved My Cheese?

So I'm blogging along, trying to get some posts done.  Updating this and that.

I need to copy something from here and paste it to there.  Except my 'here' doesn't look quite right.  Actually it's downright boring.

What happened?

My 'Cutest Blog on the Block' wasn't so cute anymore.  Apparently they declutter every now and then, getting rid of templates that aren't being used very much.  Or something.

Needless to say, I have an updated look now.  Hope you like it!  :)

Speaking of decluttering, we did some decluttering in my daughter's room this weekend.  If you would like to 'declutter', my good friend Flylady has some wonderful tips on that here called 'How to Declutter'.  She also says to remember that your house didn't get this dirty overnight, so it's not going to get decluttered and clean overnight either.

But, wouldn't that be oh, so dreamy if it did?  Nitey nite, piles of papers and dust bunnies hiding in the corners.  I WON'T see you in the morning!  haha

BTW, if you'd like to read the book with the same title as this post, check it out here at Amazon.
