4 Worship Fridays: Can We Even Sing in the Same Room?

Bob Kauflin of Sovereign Grace Ministries is speaking in this clip about the discrepency of how can we teach biblical values of worship if we can't even sing in the same room together.  Our church DOES sing in the same room together....meaning, we have a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles mixed into each of our services and don't split them out into a traditional service and a contemporary service.  But we still struggle as a church with people relying more on their own personal preferences than on biblical examples of worship that encompass the preferences of all our members.





Why do I blog? 

Short answer - I'm not really sure yet!  haha  Still trying to get this all figured out.  :)

Long answer - I think I started this blog because I had more that I wanted to say than what would fit in a Facebook status update.  Information to share.  Ideas to ponder.  Grace to give.  Kinda like when you're waiting in line a looooong time and start visiting with those in front of or behind you to help pass the time.

Ooo, that almost sounds like something there....

 'Worshipping While I Wait' is like waiting in the Express Lane for someone who decided to ignore the "12 Items or Less" sign and plop their whole, overflowing cart full of stuff on the conveyor belt.  We're waiting for His glorious return...and in the meantime, we're chatting while we stand in line.
